I Got Robbed Part 2

So hey there. Today is my 8 month mark on the mission and Im only freaking out a little bit. Also today is transfers and guess who is staying in Trindade for transfer number 6!? yup. it´s me. WOOHOO!! Sister Negreiros and I will stay here, but sister Vargas leaving and I am so sad about that! I have been living with her since I got here in the feild so it will be super weird to not have her around.  But we are getting 2 new sisters tomorrow and one of them is a greenie so yay!! Sister Nunez and I are going to be training our filhas together!

Oh yeah, about the robbery it was really chill. Sister Vargas was talking with our district leader on the phone and this guy on a motorcycle did the same thing that the other robber did and told her to give him the phone. She said `oh, uhh, okay` and he looked at the dinasuar of a phone we have and let out a sigh of dissapointment and gave it back. After that we ran away and he drove off on his motorcycle.

But yup, I am chilling super hard and seeing miracle everyday!! Yesterday I bore my testimony in sacrament meeting. I said a prayer before and asked Heavenly Father to help me speak. I got up there and it was rouuuuuuugh haha i was super nervous and I accidently said `Heavenly Father` instead of `Pai Celestial` and I thought I had a really bad accent because I was nervous and so yeah woah. But I was one of the first up there and the last member to bare her testimony (Her name is Carol) and she said something that I will never forget. She spoke about the miracles that are happening here in the Branch. She told us to use our spiritual eyes and see the miracles! Then she said to `look at Sister Richins, she got here and didn´t speak any portuguese at all and today she bore a beautiful testimony in portuguese`. And WOAH you bet I cried. Because yeah, the fact that I am speaking portuguese and people understand me 99 percent of the time is a HUGE miracle. It is so humbling. 

And as for our investigators I love them so much!! Maria de Lourdes is super excited to be baptised, we are just waiting for her to get divorced so she can get married so she can get baptised. Vai dar certo. Maria de cabelo vermelho loves the Book of Mormon with all her heart. João and Lazora love coming to church, they just need to get married too. But yeah I love it here.

Okay before I go I just wanted to share something that I have been thinking about a lot this week: When Christ had the world to save, He had time to stop and hold a little child. I love Him!!
