Another Dream!

Alright guys so we went to visit Cida again this week and guess who had another dream? yeah that's right, she did! Her son didn't visit her but she literally had the same dream Lehi did. She started explaining the dream and she didn't understand it but it was her on a narrow path with a dangerous dirty river on one side and big buildings on the other side. We explained about how the scriptures compare the gospel of Jesus Christ to a straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life. She got so excited and said, `Now I understand!! I Just need to follow the path!` and we were like, `yeah!!` and I was baffled. But it's gunna take a little bit more work to get her baptised cuz we found out she has a husband but they aren't married and she smokes and drinks. But it's fine, we have a lot of help from the other side of the veil too. Im stoked for her.
So basically this was the weirdest week of my entire life, we met so many weird people that said so many weird things and I loved it. On Friday we had a teaching appointment marked with Sanielly and her mom at a members house. An hour before, the member called and said that Sanielly wanted us to go to her house instead of meeting with her at the members house. We were like, `alright that kind of sucks we just lost a lesson with member but its fine`. So we get there at 7 and guess who was there waiting for us? Yeah you ́ll never guess so i´ll just have to tell you. It was Sanielly ́s mom ́s Pastor. yep. His name is Pedro and he is 16 years old. They call him Pastorzinho Pedro (Little pastor Pedro). But anyway we were soaking wet from the rain cuz my umbrella broke so Sanielly gets her hair dryer out and starts drying us with it and then gave us her brother ́s shirts to change in to. We were both stoked to get there and teach the Plan of Salvation but turns out Pedro taught the lesson instead of us and it was full of false doctrine and loud talking. Buy hey he has the voice of an angel so that was good. I had to try really really hard to not laugh during his little sermon cuz he kept saying things as if he himself were Jesus Christ but we all know that´s a bunch of crap. Let's just say my testimony of the church just keeps getting stronger and stronger.
I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's true church on the earth today. Russell M Nelson is His prophet. Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. and He loves us so much. I love you all!!
Don´t forget to read the Book of Mormon :)

The Best Day of my Life

So yesterday was the best day of my life but it was also the worst day. Let's talk first about why it was the best day ever.  So a couple of weeks ago a lady in the relief society told us that she had a reference for us to visit. Her name is Cida. She lives on a farm 17 kilometers from Uberlândia, so basically in the middle of nowhere. So we got there and she starts by telling us about her son, Bruno, that died a while ago. She was so so sad for a long time, so sad that she wanted to die too. On a night 2 years ago she asked God to give her a dream of her son so she wouldn't miss him so much. That night Bruno took her to the spirit world in her dream and they talked for a long time. She said so many things that literally blew my mind but Ill just give you guys a run down so your minds don't explode too haha. First he asked her the names of her family members because he didn´t remember. There are so many people there and it is really hard to find people if you don´t know their names. Bruno said that he misses his family so much and he wants to be able to find them. At the end of their conversation she told Bruno that she was lost and so she asked him what she should do and he told her that she needed to find The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had never heard the name of the church before, and its been 2 years that she has been looking for it. I know the church is true and that temple and family history work is so important.
Since the day she had the dream, she has been asking God to have another, and the night before we got there Bruno visited her again. so humbling. Also since that day she has never had another thought of suicide and she is happy.
It was the most spiritual lesson I have ever had, I could literally feel angels there sitting with us. God has so much in store for Cida, she will help so many people in her life and on the other side of the veil. I couldnt be more stoked for her!
Also I spoke in church yesterday and it was awesome, I love the gospel :)

But the bad part of the day was that sister Christensen got yelled at for 30 minutes and its was just a bad situation and it made us sad but now we are chilling. its gunna be fine haha.

I love you guys!!

Sometimes Doing the Right Thing isn't Easy

Lets talk about what happened yesterday with our friend Isaura :)
Isaura has 3 little kids and she lives with her husband who doesn´t want anything to do with the church. We have been visiting her for about 2 months now and she is super cute. She has been trying to go to church for a while now but its a complicated situation with her husband and so she hasn´t been able to. This last week she told us she would go to church and that nothing was going to stop her, but she didnt know where the church was. We explained how to get there and arranged for a member to stop by and walk with her to church so she wouldnt get lost. Sunday morning comes around and we were waiting for her to show up but she didnt, and neither did the member. I was super sad. During the last talk Isaura walked in with her stroller and 2 little kiddos and then I was so happy!! Turns out she was there waiting for the member to stop by but she didn´t so she decided to go alone, even though she didnt know how to get there. She got lost, and thats why she got there really late, but it was a miracle that she got there! And she loved it!! She is one determined lady and I loved her example yesterday. Sometimes doing the right thing isn´t easy, but its always worth it. We visited her after church and talked about eternal families, and she got super excited about baptism! So now we just gotta work with her husband so they can get legally married so she can get baptised. I am so excited for her future!
But yeah this week was a great week to be a missionary. I know that Heavenly Father loves all of His children so much.  Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and Joseph Smith was a prophet. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church on earth today. I wouldn´t be here if it wasn´t. I love being a missionary!!
Have a great week everyone :)))

No One Likes Us, But Jesus Likes Us!

What´s up?! So a crap ton of stuff has happened since I emailed last so sorry about that. BUT Wesley got baptised 2 weeks ago and it was amazing!! There were a ton of problems before the baptism so it was supposed to start at 4:00 but it didnt start until 6:00. Lots of miracles. I love Heavenly Father!
Sorry I dont have time to write much but real quick some fun things that happened:
-On the Sunday after Christmas the sacrament bread was Panettone and I was shook. It had little pieces of candied fruit in it. (Also I don´t know why but now my keyboard is typing things italicised and I dont know how to fix it so now the rest of my email will be in italics im so sorry)
- One day I started talking to three kids in the street and they were super chill and stopped to listen to me and during the conversation they asked me to pray for them because they were running away from `those guys over there` (They were the cops). So yeah if you guys could put Micheal, Leandro, and Pablo in your prayers that would be great.
-Okay so we meet a lot of crazy people on the street so the other day Sister Christensen started talking to an old lady and she started to tell us all about her church too and in the end she started to cry and said `No one likes us, but Jesus likes us`. And so now when everyone is rejecting us I just remember her words of wisdom and i feel better :)

Here´s some pics!! I love you all so much!
