Angels In Our Path

This week was a great week to be a missionary! God has put lots of angels in our path. Two examples:
The first, Nicholas. We were doing splits with the Sisters in Ituiutaba and it was HOT.  We sat down in the shade while we were waiting for lunch to be ready so we could enter the house where we were going to eat. Out of nowhere a nine-year-old boy walks toward us with a cup and a big bottle of cold water. He was the sweetest boy in the world.
The second, Samuel. An eight-year-old boy that we met on Saturday. We were in the park talking to a group of teenagers and when we said goodbye to them, Samuel was there. He said, `hi! my mom is home, you can go talk to her` and I said, `who is your mom?´ and he said her name is Jó. We had never met a Jó before. My first thought was that someone was planning on kidnapping us and was using Samuel as bait haha. But his eyes were full of light so we followed this kid to his house and he called his mom. She came out and we introduced ourselves and invited her to come to church. She was so excited and said yes! On Sunday we passed by her house to walk with her to church but she wasnt there. After church we stopped by and asked what happened. She said she had to go to the store but was all ready to come to church but she forgot where it is so she didn´t make it. I was so sad when she said that! But next week she´ll be there and it will be amazing. Finding her and her family was a miracle brought about by an angel named Samuel.
I know that the work of the Lord is being led by angels on both sides of the veil. The Holy Ghost teaches truth and the Restored gospel of Jesus Christ blesses lives! I love my Savior.
Have a great week, I love you all!! Don´t forget to give thanks for the things God has given you :)

Day of The Dead

This week was great!!! We visited Aline and Paulo the other day and Paulo told us about how we found them when he was needing us most. He said that he was about ready to walk out of his house and never come back the first day we knocked on his door. The peace the spirit left in his heart when we shared the message of the restoration is changing his life! It was super sweet when he told us that and was also an answer to my prayers.
The gospel really does change lives, take advantage of the gifts that Christ has given us! Let Him guide your life because He will guide you to life eternal. Have a great week everyone, love you all!!
